Tour our market garden
Tours for chefs, store owners, co-ops & gardeners
If looking at produce online or on a shelf doesn't satisfy your interest you can book to tour our farm. We tour for free, but many people choose to give a koha.
We have nothing to hide in the way that we grow, and are proud of our continuous learning (and subsequent results) on soil biology and plant health.
You will be toured by me - Nina - as the head gardener, and I can take you through how we grow, why, and if you are interested, some of the key principals that drive this system.
The key belief that runs our farm is the belief that 'all life is the same - the stars, animals, people, plants... all natural life follows the same base rules and laws.
DIRECTIONS
We are located at 1/201 Settlement Road, Cambridge. Look for the Devon Oaks sign and park on the property inside the gates (not down the driveway). See our find us page for a map.
WHAT TO BRING
We are not fair weather gardeners and so unless it is very wet, tours will go ahead as planned. Please bring a notepad and pen, suitable outdoor shoes (sneakers is fine), a raincoat if needed, or a hat in summer, and a drink bottle.
BUYING AND SAMPLING FOOD
You are welcome to pick and sample food from the beds - that's the point, - getting personal with the crop and where it comes from. In some cases we can also arrange sales from the farm, however this depends on your scenario and arrangement i.e. purchases will need to be placed with a distributor if that is how you usually order for your business.
Our market garden is a full time job, please do not just turn up for a tour as we cannot accommodate drop ins and even be out on deliveries!
